Pre-Season Prep: Boats Rigged, Guides Ready
Season opens in weeks. Boats are fully serviced, G.Loomis and Shimano gear is rigged and ready. River is running high from snowpack — great sign for a strong early King return. Booking slots filling fast.

Fall Silvers & Trophy Trout — Best Week of the Year
This was the week. Silver Salmon stacked in every back-eddy from Soldotna to the upper river. Guides limited out most trips by noon. Rainbow Trout absolutely on fire behind spawning salmon — fish to 26 inches caught and released. Kasilof Steelhead trickling in.

Sockeye Fury — 87,000 Fish Past Sonar in One Day
The peak of the late Sockeye run hit hard this week. ADF&G sonar recorded 87,400 fish in a single day at the Soldotna Bridge counter. Guides limited out every trip. Water clarity was 4–5 ft — near ideal. The Kenai Flip was working perfectly. Every angler went home with a full cooler.

King Salmon Running Strong on the Kasilof
Kasilof hatchery Kings had a big push this week with excellent returns at the Crooked Creek weir. Kenai wild Kings slow per conservation orders but the Kasilof fishery was wide open. Multiple fish over 50 lbs reported by our guides.

Silver Salmon Arrive Early — Action Already Hot
Earlier-than-expected Coho push into the lower Kenai. Fish are fresh from saltwater — chrome bright and absolutely savage on spinners. Trout feeding aggressively on salmon eggs. This is shaping up to be an exceptional Silver season.
