3/4 Day Fishing Trips
Our 3/4 day trips run 6–7 hours, giving you the best of both worlds—enough time to fish multiple runs and water types without committing to a full day. This is our most popular option for experienced anglers who want serious fishing time with the flexibility to enjoy the rest of their day in Soldotna.
6-7 Hours
The sweet spot between a half-day sprint and a full-day marathon on the river.
Most Popular
Our most-booked trip length. Enough time to really dial in your technique.
Peak Fishing
Cover multiple prime spots and target the best runs of the day.
From the River
The "Goldilocks" Trip
Not too short, not too long — the 3/4 day trip (6–7 hours) is our most popular booking. Enough time to work the water thoroughly and target two species, without the dawn-to-dusk endurance of a full 10-hour day.
How It Compares
Half Day
4–5 hrs
One section of river, one species target. Best for families with young kids or first-timers who want a taste of Alaskan fishing.
3/4 Day
6–7 hrs
Cover multiple runs, target 2 species, stagger launch times away from the crowd. The perfect balance of fishing time and flexibility.
Full Day
8–10 hrs
Everything the river has to offer. Best for serious anglers wanting limits of multiple species or exploring multiple sections.
What Those Extra Hours Buy You
Beat the Rush
Stagger launch times away from the massive flotilla that all drops in at exactly 5:30 AM or 1:00 PM. Fish less pressured water.
Mini-Combos
Secure a limit of Sockeye in the morning, then spend the final two hours pulling plugs for Silvers or casting flies for Rainbow Trout.
Relaxed Pacing
If the bite shuts off, a 3/4 day gives us buffer time to pull anchor, run upriver, and find a new school of fish without being rushed.
Who Is This Trip For?
The ideal trip for groups of mixed experience levels. It satisfies hardcore anglers with a solid block of fishing time, while preventing casual anglers or teenagers from burning out before the trip ends. It's also the best value-per-hour on the river.
