The Crown Jewel of Alaska Fishing

The Kenai River isn't just famous — it's legendary. Flowing 82 miles from Kenai Lake to Cook Inlet, it supports world-class, limit-producing runs of all five Pacific salmon species and is home to some of the largest native Rainbow Trout on the planet.

Why Fish the Kenai?

Biomass. During the peak of the late run in July, over 50,000 Sockeye salmon can pass the ADF&G sonar counter in a single day. This volume provides unparalleled action for both experienced anglers and first-time fishermen.

Drift Boats vs. Power Boats

Willie Drift Boats

Silent, stealthy, and mandatory on the upper river. Custom 20-foot Willie boats allow us to slide into holding water without spooking fish. The upper Kenai's non-motorized sanctuary is only accessible by drift.

Power Boats

For the middle and lower Kenai, our 21-foot power boats give us the range to cover miles of river and run back upriver to hit the most productive runs multiple times — critical during peak Sockeye action.
