Longest boardwalk on the river. Excellent for sockeye and silver salmon. The upstream end of the boardwalk is consistently productive.

Convenient to restaurants and lodging in Soldotna. A great option for a quick afternoon fish during your stay.
Rotary Park (Soldotna)

Quieter than the in-town parks. The scenic lower Kenai section here is excellent for fall silver salmon and trout.

One of the best tide-influenced spots on the river. Fish 2 hours before high tide for peak sockeye action. Also a primary dipnetting location.

All species — Kenai and Moose River confluence
Where the Moose River meets the Kenai. Excellent for trout and silver salmon in fall. Less crowded than Soldotna spots.
Morgan's Landing State Rec Site

Often overlooked — significantly less pressure than in-town parks. Well-maintained state facility with camping available.
