Kachemak State Park Fishing
Bear Cove sits within Kachemak Bay State Park, a road-less wilderness. Tides determine kayak beach landing windows and fish movement through the inner bay coves.
Remote Halibut
The deep water halibut grounds near Bear Cove produce excellent fishing. Slack water periods around high tide are prime time for jigging halibut off the park's underwater ledges.
Dolly Varden & Trout
