2026 Season Update

2026 Kenai River Dipnetting Dates & Limits

The 2026 Kenai River personal use dipnet fishery will strictly run from July 10th through July 31st, open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily. This Alaska-resident-only fishery is the ultimate freezer-filler. For 2026, household limits remain 25 sockeye for the head of household and 10 for each additional member. Expect heavy crowds on the beaches during the peak tides of mid-July 2026.
